Princesses on Swiss national day

First of August is the Swiss national day, so the evening before Ariane and I were invited to sleep over at our Australian friend's, and we had a delicious roast for dinner and everything (including my favourite - sweet potatoes, yummy).

We managed to stay up until 23:30 when the fireworks began, but after few minutes Ariane said that the flowers in the sky were too scary for her so I had to skip the show and put her to bed.


On the national day, we were VERY lazy and did nothing but play and eat, and my friend Janet, who is the best story teller in the world :), spent some time reading bed time stories to the two exhausted princesses.
